Apparently there's a Britney Spears' sex video about to be released. Ms. Spears and her hubby have a collection of videos showing them doing the nasty, and one of their employees absconded with one of the tapes and intends to sell it.

My question is this: how common is video-taping one's sexual exploits?

We all know about Tommy Lee, Vince Neil, and Paris Hilton. Oh, and Rob Lowe oh so long ago. There was even a "Friends" episode where Monica's boyfriend (portrayed by renowned conservative Tom Selleck) had sex tapes featuring him and his girlfriends.

Am I alone in having never, ever considered the possibility of video-taping myself having sex? How do you all feel, knowing that there may be tapes of you or your significant other floating around that show you engaging in the most intimate behavior imaginable with someone from your distant past?

What am I not getting here?
